 For many years Kampuchea, also called Cambodia, was a farming country. It is produce rice, beans, and corn. Fish and rubber were exported. However, many years of fighting among rival communist groups have brought suffering to the Kampuchean people and damaged thier economy. Now the country is slowly beginning to recover.
